Hidden "Color War" Eggs at the High School
Attention all students: Starting Tuesday, there will be four eggs hidden in the school, one for each grade. Each grade is responsible for finding their “color war” egg. Freshmen will look for the red egg, sophomores pink , juniors blue and seniors will look for the purple egg. No prize or points will be rewarded for finding the wrong color. Egg hunting is open before school, between classes, and during lunch. If it is discovered that you are looking during instructional time, your class will lose a point. If you tamper with any other eggs, your class will lose a point. The eggs may be hidden in halls and rooms that do not have classes during the day (library, cafeteria, ect.). Whoever finds the egg will receive a prize and the class who finds their egg first will receive a point for their grade. A PIZZA PARTY will be given to the winning grade.

We had so much fun watching the students and their families build boats out of foil and test them out!

PHES invited families to Camp Learn-a-Lot for a fun evening of reading, writing, math, and STEM activities! Some activities included making tents from spaghetti and marshmallows, reading in tents with a flashlights, making binoculars, and building strong aluminum boats to float the most pennies in water!

High School parents:
Schedule request forms for the 23-24 school year were sent home with students on March 10th. Please take the time to remind your student that these forms were due in the main office or to Mrs. Huechteman Friday, March 24th. The deadline has been extended until tomorrow, March 29th, in order to allow for those who haven't had the opportunity to get parent approval to still turn in their forms. Schedule request forms turned in AFTER March 29th will be accepted, but those students will be the last students in their grade level, because this will take significantly more time for them to complete. This would put them at risk of not getting their first choices of classes. An email will be sent through SIS with the course selection sheets for each grade level should you need another copy.
Arena scheduling will take place on Tuesday, April 4th after lunch. Students will be called down to the gym to create their schedule for the 23-24 school year based upon our course offerings and master schedule. Students will be called down by grade level (starting with incoming seniors) and in groups based on their overall attendance for the current school year.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact Dr. Baker (dbaker@phr6.org) or Mrs. Huechteman (mhuechteman@phr6.org).
Respectfully,
Dr. Baker
