6th grade Social Studies students are wrapping up their unit on ancient China by creating their own Great Wall.
Prom Tickets are now on sale! Join us for an Old Hollywood themed night and "Raise a Glass" at The Veranda in Buffalo on April 29th from 7-11 PM. A meal will be served @7 PM. Juniors pay $50 per ticket, Seniors $25. Underclassmen and out-of-town dates pay $50 and need to turn in a form that can be picked up in the office. Spring Field Trip Fun is right around the corner:
YESTERDAY, PHES students are brought home SPRING Grade Level Field Trip Information & Permission Slips. Each student has a packet with a permission slip to attend the field trip as well as guest background check information.
ALL guests who plan to attend a field trip are required to complete all background check documents. This must be completed for each guest attending. If more forms are needed please contact your child’s teacher or PHES office. Field trips are quickly approaching. Please complete the background forms as soon as possible, these do take some time to be approved through the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. See packet for more details.
ONLY guests with approved background checks will be allowed to attend a field trip. If your background check is not complete and approved you will not be allowed to attend.

1. Pleasant Hope School District FERPA Form (Complete paper form & Return to PHES classroom teacher)
2. Worker Registration (Complete online at www.health.mo.gov/safety/fcsr One-time registration fee of $14.00 - pay online)
3. Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services Family Care Safety Registry Volunteer Background Screening

High school track and field team competed tonight at Stockton with real hard winds. Top finishes are: Graci Wolf 1st place high jump and Ilandria Shuler finished 4thin in the 3200 meter run and 8th in 1600 meter run.

PHES is gearing up for the MAP Test. All 3rd and 4th graders will be taking the MAP Test. PHES will host MAP Boot Camp from 3:40-4:40 April 4th, 6th, 11th and 13th. All 3rd and 4th graders are invited to attend.
1st graders enjoyed an egg hunt! They took their "treasures" back to the classroom and opened them up to find, nouns, addition and subtraction problems, and words with long e patterns! They sorted and solved their treasures as a team! #PiratesLoveLearning
