Third grade received visitors from the Springfield Nature Center today. They helped us with our understandings of how Native Americans used the bison for survival. We also explored the hunting, trapping, and teamwork involved in the Lewis & Clark expedition.

The PHHS Lady Pirates season ended in District play this evening, as they fell to the Sparta Lady Trojans. The Lady Pirates played hard, with heart, and showed positive growth this season!
Algebra 2 students practiced their knowledge of polynomials by creating a Birthday Polynomial poster. Students used the digits of their birthday to generate a graph they could turn into something personal to them. Here are a few examples. My favorite project of the whole year!

Spring Sports Meeting will be held at 5:30 in the Middle School this evening for those who have not played a sport this year. Otherwise, MS and HS Track, MS Baseball, and HS Softball will conduct their parent meeting at 5:45. High School Baseball will have a parent meeting for parents/players that are new to the High School baseball program this year at 5:45.

Spring Sports Information and Practice Pass Meeting. Thursday, February 15, 2024, 5:30 pm in Pleasant Hope Middle School Gym
HS Boys Basketball Class 3 District 11 first round game will be vs Forsyth. They will play Tuesday, February 20 at 5:00 pm. The game will be played at Sparta High School.
HS Girls Basketball Class 3 District 11 first round game will be vs Sparta. They will play Monday, February 19 at 7:30 pm. The game will be played at Springfield Catholic High School.
