The Pirates fall to the Galena Bears today in Boys District play 74-66.





10 more archers shot their personal best yesterday at the 2nd Annual Greater Ozarks Conference Tournament. David Marvin shot his personal best again and qualified for state with a score of 276 out of 300.

Basketball District Playoffs start this Week. The girls play on Monday @ 6:30 pm vs Blue Eye at Greenwood. The boys will take on Galena @ 4:30 pm on Tuesday at Crane.

Pleasant Hope High School freshman Sydney “Kyle” Kennedy was the 2026 winner of the Patriots of the American Revolution Essay Contest for the Southwest Missouri Region.
She was honored by Matilda Polk Campbell Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution at an awards reception held February 21 at the Open Hearts Methodist Church in Bolivar.
She is third consecutive PHHS student to win this annual award.

The 5th graders are learning about metric conversions by using the Olympics. They did the Broad Jump in centimeters and then did their conversions. They won gold, silver or bronze in their groups.







REMINDER! The Pleasant Hope Spring Sports Mandatory Meeting will be this Sunday, February 22, 2026. It will be held at the Middle School and will begin at 2:00 pm. Come meet the coaches and receive important information about the upcoming Spring Season.

Dalton Dixon and Daylin Campbell each received a FFA SAE grant sponsored by the MFA Foundation in order to begin swine production projects. Dalton received $750 and Daylin received $1000. Both plan to show their hogs at the Polk County Fair in June.

The Lady Pirates finish out the regular season with a win over Galena 58 - 39. Great game ladies!

Phope fell to Greenwood tonight but in true Pirate fashion our boys hustled until the final buzzer! Thanks to our fans and outstanding cheerleaders.









Pleasant Hope JV defeats Greenwood tonight! After the game we recognized the PHope 3rd and 4th grade boys team and former Pirate Coach, Jay Osborne. The varsity game hasn't started yet-plenty of time to show up and cheer for your Pirate basketball team.
