Pleasant Hope JV defeats Greenwood tonight! After the game we recognized the PHope 3rd and 4th grade boys team and former Pirate Coach, Jay Osborne. The varsity game hasn't started yet-plenty of time to show up and cheer for your Pirate basketball team.

Morrisville History Bowl
Pleasant Hope High School’s History Club teams placed third and sixth, respectively, in the Greater Ozarks Conference division at the annual Morrisville History Bowl, held February 6. Out of 13 teams, the PHHS Black and Gold teams tied for third, with the PHHS White team placing sixth.
In the overall competition, 35 teams representing 18 area schools competed. PHHS’s Black and Gold teams tied for 10th, with the PHHS White team placing 15th.
PHHS History Club members competing were:
PHHS Black – Julian Saylor (captain), Jack Keeling, David Marvin, Ethan Mullings, Tanner Ward, and Taylen Perryman
PHHS Gold – Michael Cardwell (captain), Katie Vest, Kaiden Dawson, Jason Chapman, Keira Stewart, and Paisley Brewer
PHHS White – Isaiah Watters (captain), Sydney Kennedy, Elijah McBride, Nolan Lair, Sam Diggs, and Randall Kendrick

25 archers got their first opportunity to shoot in a 3D tournament. Lots of fun and a great experience at Skyline this past week.


On February 12, students in our Guitar 2 class took a field trip to Ernie Williamson and Palen Music Center in Springfield, MO. Students learned about various career fields and opportunities in music, amps, and guitar maintenance. Thank you Ernie Williamson and Palen Music Center for hosting us!










Sydney Kennedy competed in the Missouri Arts Council Poetry Out Loud Regionals in Joplin. Sydney placed third.
