Happy Music in our Schools Month!!
On Tuesday, March 3, the High School Concert Band traveled to Camdenton, MO for the MSHSAA State Large Ensemble Evaluation. Students first performed two prepared pieces in front of a panel of three judges. Immediately after, students then had 6 minutes to prepare and perform a brand new piece of music they have never seen before for a fourth judge.
We are happy to announce that YOUR Pleasant Hope High School Concert Band received an overall Outstanding (2) rating! This means that our students are frequently demonstrating proper fundamental technique and musical effect.
HUGE thank you to Ms. Dale, Dr. Gallivan, JR, Marcus Highfill, Coach Apple, and our 8th grade support system for helping us have a successful day! #pinhookpride

Attention Seniors, we are getting so close to graduation! I received a list of students who have ordered their caps and gowns and most of you have. HOWEVER, IF YOU HAVE NOT ORDERED, IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU GET THIS DONE ASAP. It takes 4-6 weeks, without delays, for these to come in.
