Mrs. Edwards' 6th grade math students are wrapping up their unit on Surface Area. They designed a tent and found how much fabric it would take to cover their tent.
JV Lady Pirates pull off a great 2-1 win against Stockton.
Varsity Lady Pirates fought hard but lost to Stockton 1-3. Great effort girls!

The Pirate POWER Band is in desperate need of donations of bottled water! Our students work hard in the heat, and keeping them hydrated on Football Friday Nights and Competition Days are essential.
📦 If you are willing and able, please drop off cases of bottled water at the HS Office or email rhanks@phr6.org for other arrangements. Every case helps keep the music strong! 🎶🥁
A great evening at Pirates Stadium tonight! Our MS football team played a solid game. Tremendous effort, sportsmanship and teamwork. Thanks to our cheerleaders for leading our crowd in cheers until the very end. Lighthouse Christian won but our Pirates played hard until the final seconds! Go Pirates Nation!!!!

Pumpkin Carving Contest
AR is in full swing at PHES! Accelerated Reader is a program that uses computer-based quizzes and points to motivate students to read books at their individual reading level and monitor their comprehension. Students can use their points to shop at the AR Store! One of those items is to eat lunch with Mrs. Johnson for 10 points. Way to read, comprehend and spend wisely!!
