At today’s pep assembly during Pirate Time, we celebrated Natalie Myers for placing third place in the Missouri School Board Association school safety competition and introduced our spring teams. Go Pirates! Have a safe Spring Break. See you all on Tuesday the 21st.

PHES celebrated students who passed a math operation during third quarter with ice cream sundaes at the Rocket Math celebration!
PHES will be hosting a family fun night on Thursday, March 23, from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM in the cafeteria. It will be a fun evening of reading, writing, and math activities for the whole family! A hot dog dinner will be served at 5:00 and activities will begin at 5:30. Come have fun at Camp-Learn-a-Lot!
1st graders in Ms. Dale's music class created some amazing melodies using boom whackers and popular songs! Our Pirates are so musical!! 🎶
1st graders in Mrs. Gray's class studied different versions of the folktale "The Gingerbread Man." They studied bridges also and created an escape route for the gingerbread man and got to test their strength. Then they wrote a new ending to the well known story to save him. #PiratesLoveLearing

The Pleasant Hope School District invites all students, staff, families, and our community to join the 2023 Continuous School Improvement Planning meeting of the PHR6 Board tomorrow, Tuesday, March 7th at 6:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Hope High School cafeteria. This meeting is ESSENTIAL to revise long-range plans for high-quality learning and ensure the successful building of the future of Pleasant Hope. We look forward to the valuable input of our community! Also, please remember that middle and high school parent-teacher conferences will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. this evening with a break for teacher's to eat dinner.
The High School Winter Sports Banquet will be held Wednesday night at 6:30 in the High School Gym. We will recognize Varsity Girls Basketball, Varsity Boys Basketball, and Varsity Cheerleading. Bring your favorite dessert or appetizer!

This is a reminder that PHR6 Middle School and High School Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Middle School and High School Gyms. Middle School Teachers will take a break from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. for dinner, and High School Teachers will take a break from 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. for dinner. Please reach out to your student's building if you need additional information.
In addition, the High School Career and Technical Education programs are hosting their annual advisory committee meetings for Agriculture Education, Business Education, and Family & Consumer Sciences Education in the High School Conference Room at 6:00 p.m.
