It's Championship Night in the Pleasant Hope Girls Basketball Invitational Tournament! Your Lady Pirates will take on the Morrisville Lady Panthers for 3rd place at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $5 for adults, $2 for students, 65 years old and older get in Free
Pleasant Hope Boys Basketball falls to Bolivar JV 55 - 45 in the semifinals. They will play for 3rd place Saturday at 6:00 pm
Pleasant Hope Elementary will host our annual Community Service Day in May. On this day PreK-4th grade students volunteer around our community. We are seeking ideas. Please complete the form below if you have any ideas.
In the past we have:
Painted exterior surfaces for community buildings
Planted flowers for community/ business spaces.
Delivered colored pictures and potted flowers to the senior housing center.
Toured and given thank you to community members - (Volunteer Fire Department, City Hall/ Police Station, PHR6 School Board)
Picked up trash
Potted flowers for businesses
These are just few ways our students have volunteered in the community. This gives them pride and ownership in our town. If you own a business and need some help or have any ideas of how we can volunteer please share. We appreciate your support!

Pleasant Hope Lady Pirates fall to #1 seed Walnut Grove 51 - 13 tonight. They will face Morrisville in the 3rd place game on Friday at 7:00 pm

Boys Basketball team on a first round tournament win over Humansville! The Pleasant Hope Boys & Girls Basketball Tournament will continue with games today through Saturday with championships on Friday & Saturday 4p.m.-8:30p.m.
Pleasant Hope Project Graduation is holding a whole beef raffle. $5 a ticket or $20 for five tickets. They are currently set up at the Pleasant Hope Basketball Tournament.
Pleasant Hope Lady Pirates defeat Seymour in the first round of the Pleasant Hope Tournament 45 - 39.

Jan. 13 - Feb. 7, 2025 PHES will be participating with Polk County Library in the Winter Reading Challenge. Classes will be competing against each other to earn the most minutes read. Students will simply need to fill out their reading logs with minutes read and turn them every Tuesday. Grand Prize is an Ice Breaker Party: Board Games & Ice Cream.

Tomorrow’s Archery tournament in Clever is canceled. There was no mention of a makeup date.
