MS. KOSS- ALL CLASSES
Friendly reminder that all of the assignments from last week and this week are due tomorrow at midnight, make sure you meet all due dates even though we are not having seated classes. I have posted a video on google classroom if you need help doing this. All you need is a phone and internet access to submit your assignments! YOU CAN DO IT, APPLY YOURSELF!

I had a few parents reach out to me about homework packets as it relates to our IEP/504 students. Please feel free to modify assignments to your students ability level. I have notified teachers that this will be allowed for students that have special services. If you need clarification on examples, or what would be appropriate types of modifications feel free to email me at ddilley@phr6.org or contact the teacher directly. I am more than happy to help at anytime. Thanks for your hard work and dedication to your students education. If the school closure is extended much further, please be watching your email in the near future as we may need to schedule IEP meetings via phone or virtual methods in order to complete those before the end of the school year. Thanks again, be safe and hopefully we will be back together soon.

Hello! If you are in Consumer Math, you will be receiving new printed packets next week. If you are in Athletic Conditioning, we will continue to log our activity and new logs will be available next week. If you have questions, feel free to email me! -- Coach D

Mr. Conklin's Leadership Class:
We will continue to do discussions and projects through Google Classroom. If you are struggling with access feel free to call or text me.
Find a way to be positive and continue making a positive impact in this unprecedented time.

Mr. Conklin's Math:
Pre-Algebra: You will be getting new review packets being mailed to you next week.
Geometry and Algebra 1: Use USAtest Prep as normal. I will be mailing out paper based packets to those students who need them next week.
E-mail if you have questions.

FROM THE DESK OF COACH TURNER Good evening Physical and Chemical Science students, I want to adjust the goal for your USA test prep from 90 to 70 percent. I cannot change this assessment, but moving forward I will place a bit lower expectations. Try twice to get the highest score possible, looking up answers as much as you can. I do not want you to spend hours retaking the tests, your honest effort twice should suffice.

Good afternoon, drama students!
I received a good question I wanted to answer for everyone. You only need to write your critique based on the paper instructions I gave you. I will send out a second assignment with the new packets next week. Let me know if anything is unclear!

For Mr. Keller's classes:
Current Events - Continue doing daily research evaluation forms (2 current events per day). Form sent via school email to each student.
American History - Updated syllabus assignment schedule and weekly worksheets for each chapter have been sent to each student via school email.
American Government - The updated assignment schedule has weekly reading and work assignments for each chapter. Copies of this schedule has been sent to each student via school email.

Hello all! Now would be a great time to read a classic novel. Two sites that allow you to read for free are Project Gutenberg and many books.net. If you need a classic literature recommendation, email me at klee@phr6.org. Hope you all are safe and well! Take care!

All High School Students will have the opportunity to drop off their homework from the past two weeks in the high school cafeteria and pick up all of their new homework materials for the next three weeks on Tuesday, March 31st from 9am-1pm and 8am to 12pm on Wednesday April 1st. We would also like all high school students to have the ability to visit their locker and pick up anything they may want there.
All materials not picked up will be mailed home on Wednesday April 1st after the pickup times are over.
It is important to turn in your materials to receive a grade in your class so we are hoping we can get those materials from as many a possible next week.

A positive, growth mindset can go a long way!
