
While we are a little late in celebrating due to February's weather, here are your February and March CTA Students of the Month for Elementary and Middle School. Teachers indicated they are outstanding leaders, help others, and do a tremendous job academically. We are very proud of each and every one. Congratulations!

Come out to support Pleasant Hope Baseball this Saturday, March 13th
at 5pm in the Middle School Cafeteria as they have a Chili Supper and Bingo from 5-8pm.



We are excited to kick off our March Madness AR Bracket Challenge this week! This competition will go through the beginning of April. Be sure to encourage your student to complete a non-fiction book this week and take the quiz this week.

PHES is now taking appointments to sign up for 2021-2022 Preschool and Kindergarten enrollment. Please call 417-267-2277 ext. 2200 to reserve an appointment. Screening and enrollment dates are:
Preschool: May 11th, 12th, & 13th from 8:00-3:00.
Kindergarten: May 18th, 19th & 20th from 8:00-2:00.

Reminder to all High School Parents, both in person and virtual learners, we are available tomorrow from 2pm to 8 pm on Monday, March 8th for Parent Teacher Conferences at the high school. Stop in the office to get a current grade card and then you can make your way around to visit teachers in their classrooms. Hope to see you all tomorrow.

Wednesday, March 10, is the last chance to pre-order your PHES 2020-2021 yearbook. Elementary yearbooks are $13. You may order on-line or from the school.


PHES students enjoy their friendship party with valentine boxes, treats and fun activities!

Mrs. Green’s Genius Class shared their Animal Adaptations Projects. Each student created a new species and made them “adapt” to their environment.

March 9th: Spring Pictures will be taken on this date. Picture forms are being sent home today.
March 10th: Yearbooks can be purchased online through this date. Forms are available in the office if needed. The cost for a yearbook is $15.
March 12th: Polk County softball/baseball forms need to be completed & returned by this date. Forms are being sent home today and they are available in the office.

This week is PHES Teacher and Staff Appreciation week! Please join us in celebrating all our amazing TEACHERS AND STAFF at PHES this week. In the last year our teachers and staff have been extremely flexible and have worked to keep students learning against all odds. PHES has the most loving and dedicated teachers and staff.
