Pirate Nation welcomes talented leaders to the administrative team!
Dr. Steve Gallivan will serve as the Student Services Director for the Pleasant Hope School District for the 2022-2023 school year. Gallivan replaces David Dilley, who served the school district for 17 years as an educator and administrator. Mrs. Jenny Pendleton will serve as the Middle School Principal for the Pleasant Hope School District for the 2022-2023 school year. Pendleton replaces Lance Gallamore, who served as the Pleasant Hope Middle School Principal for three years, previously serving as an administrator in Springfield Schools, and also teaching and coaching at Pleasant Hope early in his career. The District is thankful for Dilley's and Gallamore's hard work and service to Pleasant Hope Schools, and wishes them both the best in their future endeavors!
Fo-Fiddley-Fee….1st grade had lots of fun using their science skills to learn about bridges and testing their bridge building skills! They also used their inferencing knowledge to follow clues around the school that a pesky fellow left behind. Learning is so fun!

Congratulations to 8th grade student Addison Rogers on finishing in 3rd place at a regional Algebra 1 math competition! Great job!
Shooters shot well at state archery bullseye tournament at Branson, with several personal bests. There are 3 more days left of the tournament, so final scores will not be out until Sunday. It was a great experience for our 7 shooters!!! Proud of these pirates!!!!
Congratulations to seven high school archery members that qualified for the state archery tournament! They will travel to Branson today to compete in bullseye. If you see these students, wish them luck!!

The Polk County Health Department is offering a Meningitis vaccination (MCV) clinic for the incoming 2022-2023 12th grade students (seniors) at Pleasant Hope High School on Wednesday, March 16th at 1:30 p.m. Permission forms have been mailed to current students.
