Subject: Calling All Future Lady Pirates! Summer Softball Fun!
Dear PHMS Families,
We are excited to share that the PHMS Softball Team will once again be participating in a Summer Softball League! We would love for any 5th, 6th and 7th grade girl interested in softball to join us for a fun summer of learning, improving skills, and playing the game.
Summer league is a great opportunity for girls to gain experience, build confidence, make new friends, and have a lot of fun on the field while getting a preview of middle school softball. Whether your child has played before or is brand new to the sport, everyone is welcome!
If your daughter is interested in playing or if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Happy Music in our Schools Month!!
On Tuesday, March 3, the High School Concert Band traveled to Camdenton, MO for the MSHSAA State Large Ensemble Evaluation. Students first performed two prepared pieces in front of a panel of three judges. Immediately after, students then had 6 minutes to prepare and perform a brand new piece of music they have never seen before for a fourth judge.
We are happy to announce that YOUR Pleasant Hope High School Concert Band received an overall Outstanding (2) rating! This means that our students are frequently demonstrating proper fundamental technique and musical effect.
HUGE thank you to Ms. Dale, Dr. Gallivan, JR, Marcus Highfill, Coach Apple, and our 8th grade support system for helping us have a successful day! #pinhookpride
