7th/8th Grade Math

Pleasant Hope Middle School has an opening for a Middle School Math Teacher at the 7th-8th grade level that will teach 7th/8th grade math and Pre-Algebra. Pleasant Hope Schools operates on a 4 DAY Weekly Calendar(no school on Mondays) for the 2020-2021 school year and will have a contract length of 161 days for certified staff. Special Education Teacher Cross-Categorical 5-12 / Math Teacher

The Pleasant Hope School District, (Ranch School -- located at the Good Samaritan Boys Ranch), is seeking a special education teacher for emotional behavior support at both primary and secondary levels with approximately 10 students per classroom for the 2020-2021 school year. Pleasant Hope offers a 4-day school week (Tuesday-Friday), competitive salary, full health benefits, and a family-like working atmosphere. The successful candidate will have a valid Missouri teaching certificate, an understanding of the Missouri Learning Standards, a desire to work collaboratively as a team member in a Professional Learning Community, and the ability to effectively integrate technology in the classroom. The candidate needs to possess knowledge, experience and expertise in instruction of students with disabilities, as well as, demonstrate competency and compliance in the special education process. Experience teaching special education students in small group settings focusing on emotional behavioral supports and spectrum disorders is preferred; however, experience is preferred but not required. Additionally, the candidate should have experience implementing behavioral plans designed by the IEP team for students with behavior disorders or other special conditions for the purpose of presenting and reinforcing learning concepts.

Pleasant Hope High School has an opening for a High School Math Teacher at the 9-12 level that will teach various levels of mathematics to be determined Pleasant Hope Schools operates on a 4 DAY Weekly Calendar(no school on Mondays) for the 2020-2021 school year and will have a contract length of 161 days for certified staff. We offer a competitive salary, health benefits, and a team atmosphere for kids to succeed. There are options for other positions such as coaching or club sponsorship that are available for additional stipends. The position will remain open until filled. SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS

We are accepting applications for substitute teachers for all of our buildings.  The PHR6 School District pays $90 per day and $110 for a long term substitute for one position.  Applicants need to have a current substitute certification from DESE and fill out paperwork available in the district office.
