Pediatric Therapy Happy Halloween Party
Thursday, Oct. 31, 3 to 5 p.m.CMH Outpatient Pediatric TherapyCMH Outpatient Pediatric Therapy will host a come and go Halloween party for therapy patients and their siblings on Thursday, Oct. 31 from 3 – 5 p.m. at the pediatric clinic located at CMH, 1500 N. Oakland, Bolivar.

Attendees are invited to wear their Halloween costumes. During the party, there will be an obstacle course, sensory station, ghost bowling and more.

Trick or Treat at CMHLong-Term Care Facilities
Thursday, Oct. 31Visit our individual long-term care Facebook pages for times and details. Residents will be handing out candy as a safer alternative to door-to-door trick-or-treating.


Lunch and Learn: Aging
Friday, Nov. 1, 11:30 a.m.CMH Community RoomsCMH will host a free Lunch and Learn seminar on aging Friday, Nov. 1, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the CMH Community Rooms located at 1500 N. Oakland, Bolivar. Geriatrician Christina Capps, M.D. will present “Aging: What’s Normal and What’s Not?”

CMH Hospice Lights of Remembrance
Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 5:15 p.m.Douglas Medical CenterThe evening will welcome the holiday season with entertainment, in addition to special awards including Hospice Light Award, Hospice Partner in Care Award, and the Sue McCoy Hospice Service Award. The public is invited to attend and refreshments will be served.

The purpose of the annual lights of remembrance "Cheer-ity" event is to honor the life of a loved one, support the Hospice philosophy of living life fully, comfortably and dying with dignity, and to involve the community in the support of Hospice care. Individuals can make donations in honor of family and friends, or in memory of loved ones.
