Capri Sun Pouches
The Technology Departments' newest recycling efforts involve Capri-Sun and the Terracycle organization.
TerraCycle (AKA “Drink Pouch Brigade”) collects drink pouches, Capri Sun,from schools, charities and other organizations. The pouches get cleaned and repurposed into usable gear like tote bags and pencil cases. For every 5,000 drink pouches submitted, our school earns $100. It’s an eco-friendly initiative to benefit the environment AND our school. By “upcycling” the billions of used drink pouches tossed in landfills every year, everyone wins.
