FFA Week
We start our FFA Week tomorrow morning with Community Breakfast from 6:30-9:30am in the high school cafeteria. Come out and enjoy a free meal prepared by our FFA members!
Sunday, February 19 we will be attending Lone Star Baptist for their 11am service if you would like to join us.
Tuesday, February 21 is Donkey Basketball at 7pm. Cost is $6 in advance and $8 at the door (I can deliver tickets). We are honored to be hosting the National FFA President, Ryan Best, that night. This is a true privilege and the first time a National FFA Officer has ever visited Pleasant Hope, WE ARE EXCITED!!
Wednesday, February 22 The FFA and FCCLA are teaming together to Fight Hunger and Feed America. We encourage each of you to have your students bring in canned food. We will collect them Thursday morning. Might even be an incentive for the class in the district that brings in the most canned goods!!
That evening we are headed to Lambert’s. We will be there at 7pm but are offering a bus ride to help you save on gas (no charge for the ride J); bus leaves at 6:15pm. We would LOVE to see you there to enjoy a great meal and even better company!
Thursday, February 23 is Teacher Appreciation Day. Check your mailbox for a special treat for all you do for our FFA members!!
Friday, February 24 Be on the lookout that morning as our members drive their tractors down Main Street. This is a long standing tradition that our students really look forward to participating in.
Thank each and every one of you for all you do for our FFA members! We would not be able to reach the success we do without the help you provide. We hope you enjoy this week of celebration for the leading industry in America- Agriculture!
