Pleasant Hope Wins Football Opener

I wanted to notify all and extend a congratulations to Coach Reeves, the football staff, and the players on a job well done Friday night in the football opener.
We defeated Joplin McAuley by a score of 41-12 to snap a 33 game losing streak. It was great to see the excitement on the player’s faces after the game and see them experience that success.
I encourage you to help build the momentum by showing up Friday to support the team at home against Marionville at 7:00pm. Sept. 3rd.

AS MOST PEOPLE ACROSS THE STATE KNOW, WEBB CITY HAS A HISTORY OF FOOTBALL SUCCESS. WHEN MY NIECE AND HER SON MOVED TO PLEASANT HOPE A FEW YEARS AGO WE WERE DISAPPOINTED TO HEAR THAT PLEASANT HOPE DID NOT HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PROGRAM AT THAT TIME. OUR NEPHEW IS NOW IN FIFTH GRADE. WE LOOK FORWARD TO SUPPORTING PLEASANT HOPE ATHLETICS. IN JUST A FEW YEARS YOU HAVE LAID THE FOUNDATION FOR A SUCCESSFUL PROGRAM.
