Welcome to the New PHR6 Music Department website...
By Theresa Greene
We would like to welcome our new Band/Music Director Laura Mudge. Please check back often as Mrs. Mudge starts to utilize the website and post articles.
We hope you are finding it to be a fantastic resource for all the students and families involved in the program as well as anyone else who might be interested in what we are up to. Links to the various music pages can be found to the left along with links to new articles as we add them. A link to the official PHR6 Music Calendar is at right. Enjoy!!!
Please check out all these downloads that will help you view, print, play, and even edit the documents and music on this site! You will want Scorch™, Audacity™ (and the LAME extension that goes with it), Adobe™ Reader, and maybe even OpenOffice if you don't have Microsoft's Office Suite.
To contact Laura Mudge call her at 417-267-2271 (exts. 2312 or 2412).

| 03/24/2010 | My daughter comes home from school asking to sighn up for band and she needs a trumpet. I thought "great that new band teacher has been recruting the middle school kids."Its just a phase so I'll rent her a trumpet and alls well. Then we are having our regular board meeting and in walks the new band teacher rolling in a full size piano! We all kinda rolled our eyes thinking this has never happen before wonder what he wants? Then when the children filed in and began to play and sing our mouths dropped open! It was incredible what had happen,Where did this talent come from? How long has this been here ? Have we been overlooking these kids? He knocked our socks off! Every event is so exciting with music playing, kids are so excited again, Parents are amazed what there kids can do! |
