As you can see, the Pleasant Hope R-VI School District web site has changed! We have been working internally for the past few months to redesign the web site, and we will be making additions over the course of the next several weeks and months. The site - located at www.phr6.ORG - will continue to evolve and keep you up to date on important school activities and information. (For now, we'll keep the old site - at www.phr6.COM - up and running until we have transferred all content over to the new site.)
For instance, please check the scrolling marquee at the top of the Front Page regularly. That is where you will find the very latest news about the Pleasant Hope schools - what a great tool it will be for communicating emergencies or when bad weather causes delays or closings!
Of interest to everyone at
this point will be the buttons along the right margin. That area
has been designed so that you can get to the District Calendar and
the Parent and Faculty Portals to our new online Student
Information System. We are hoping that this giant leap into 21st
century educational technology will assist both school and families
communicate more effectively and efficiently with each other. If
you are a parent or guardian and you have not yet completed the
form to receive your secure username and password that allows you
to access all of your student(s)' records, please check with the
office at your school to get the process started. Many Pleasant
Hope parents are already receiving daily updates about their
student's homework, grades, attendance, lunch account, etc. Jump on
the bandwagon NOW!
One of the reasons we chose the SOCS network was because the site
itself is very dynamic; in other words, it has the ability to
change... a lot! While the site won't be a daily newspaper,
by any means, it is certainly our goal to keep the content fresh
and exciting in an effort to entice you to return often.
So, we invite you to take a look now, and then keep checking in with us from time to time; hopefully you'll notice the changes, the new features, etc. Also, we encourage you to sign up for the News Update to get the latest news forwarded directly to you. Click here to find out how to subscribe.

| 11/05/2009 | Awesome!!! I love checking on the kids without having to be at school or on the phone with 7 different teachers if your child was absent for illness. And this keeps you informed of what is going on in other buildings besides the ones your children are currently in. POSITIVE things our kids are doing is so good for the community to see and show kids we are PROUD of them and their accomplishments. |
